No developer‑run backend; no third‑party ads or cross‑site tracking; we do not collect
personally identifiable information by default.
If you connect an Audiobookshelf (ABS) server, data flows and is
stored only between your device and that server. That server's privacy and security are
controlled by its operator.
Data We Handle
On‑device only: artwork/metadata cache, playback
progress/bookmarks/queue, offline downloads, app preferences, ABS address & tokens (secured via system
storage, e.g., Keychain). You can uninstall the app.
ABS communication: auth tokens, progress sync, library/search and
download requests go directly to your configured server; the developer does not
receive this data.
Purchases: processed by Apple (StoreKit/App Store). We locally
verify receipts to unlock features; nothing is uploaded to a developer backend.
Diagnostics: no third‑party analytics. We may receive
de‑identified crash/performance data only if you voluntarily share it to fix issues.
Permissions
May use: local network (LAN ABS), background downloads, Bluetooth/headset media
controls.
We do not request unrelated sensitive permissions
(contacts/photos/location/health, etc.).
Changes & Contact
This Policy may be updated; material changes will be announced in release notes or
in‑app. Continued use means acceptance.
